Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Sonographer with ARDMS and OB/GYN certification for a 13-week assignment in a hospital-based Perinatal Center.

Details

• Located in a hospital-based Perinatal Center on the 3rd floor of the main building
• Unit serves a perinatal/OB-GYN patient population across 3 hospital centers
• Caseload of approximately 10–12 patients per sonographer per day
• Day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Procedures include 1st trimester scans, BPP, Dopplers, detailed fetal anatomy, OB complete, and NT scans
• Equipment includes GE E8 and E10 ultrasound systems
• EMR system is Viewpoint

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based sonography experience
• Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
• ARDMS certification required
• OB/GYN certification required
• BLS (AHA or ARC) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Fetal Echo experience is preferred
• NTQR certification is preferred
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• The department team includes sonographers, RNs, a genetic counselor, registrars, a director, and a clinical manager
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
