Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level III high-risk facility in New Jersey, requiring at least 2.5 years of experience and an active NJ RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit at a Level III high-risk facility
• Will float to the High-Risk OB (HROB) unit as needed, which includes 16 rooms caring for early inductions, antepartum, and patients on continuous monitoring
• Travelers may be required to float across up to 5 hospital campuses within their skillset
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• Epic EMR — experience preferred
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license (or compact license with NJ privileges) required
• Minimum 2.5 years of L&D nursing experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Two current professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing — failure to complete within the allotted time results in contract cancellation
• Only 2 attempts are allowed for the Dysrhythmia test; the test must be completed on a PC (not an iOS device, which is incompatible and will register as a failed attempt)
• Two failed attempts will result in contract cancellation and a Do Not Return (DNR) status with the hospital system
• Candidates who live within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — RTO requests submitted after will not be accepted
