Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a brand-new 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, requiring an active FL OT license.

Details

  • Inpatient rehabilitation unit in a hospital setting in Atlantis, FL
  • Brand-new 42-bed IP rehab unit with new equipment
  • Day shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
  • Primary placement in the inpatient rehab unit with floating within the unit
  • 1:1 therapy model
  • Documentation via Meditech EMR
  • Ability to incorporate weekends into the 5-day schedule is a plus
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active FL Occupational Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical OT experience
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, SNF, or inpatient rehab setting
  • Active OT experience within the last 6 months required
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Two professional references required for Florida placements

Additional Information

  • Provide 1:1 occupational therapy services to inpatient rehabilitation patients
  • Grey scrubs required
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
