Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at an HCA facility in Fredericksburg, TX, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and an active TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Located on the first floor of an 84-bed hospital
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit with a day shift team consisting of 1 CNC, 1 Cath Lab Tech, and 3 RNs
- Common procedures include Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and Interventional Radiology
- Philips equipment used in the lab
- EMR: Meditech
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shift
- On-call rotation required for evenings and weekends
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Perform PCI and Interventional Radiology procedures in a collaborative Cath Lab setting
- Ideal candidate is personable, professional, and adaptable
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 1 year of recent specialty experience is required
