Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week travel assignment in Beckley, WV, requiring ARRT certification and 1+ year of X-ray experience.
Details
- Diagnostic Radiology department at a Level III Trauma, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital
- Serves patients across all age groups
- Previous X-ray experience required, including comfort with OR cases
- Uses Meditech EHR
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend and additional weekends as needed
- On-call requirements as needed
- Floating within the facility as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of X-ray technologist experience
- ARRT certification required
- Current AHA BLS and HWC certifications required
- Certification or licensure to practice as an X-ray technologist in West Virginia — license required if applicable
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
Additional Information
- Orientation is held biweekly on Wednesdays
- Black scrubs required; casual wear is not permitted
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible for this position
- First-time travelers will be considered
