Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment at a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center, with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency required.
Details
- Critical Access Hospital and Level III Trauma Center setting with 25 staffed beds
- RRT unit with floating required between units based on facility needs
- Primarily adult patient population; pediatric patients are seen through the ED but are not typically admitted outside of the ED
- Low volume of critical cases, with most care being standardized
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
- Weekends required, with most shifts falling on weekend nights
- Block scheduling required
- 1 RRT on per shift
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- No on-call required
Requirements
- Active RRT license (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
- PALS is strongly recommended but not required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers are considered for this position
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position
- Scrubs in any color are acceptable; scrubs are provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units
- No parking fee at this facility
