Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN with Level III experience and micro-preemie/high-frequency ventilation skills for a night shift, every-weekend travel contract in New Jersey.

Details

• Position is located in a Level III NICU within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is 1:2
• Unit practices couplet care with a dedicated Stork RN on each shift
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every weekend is required, along with one weekday shift per week
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating is required within a network of up to 5 hospitals based on staffing needs, within the candidate's skillset
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 2–3 years of NICU experience required
• Level III NICU experience required
• Experience with micro-preemies and high-frequency ventilation required
• Two current professional references required for consideration
• COVID-19 vaccine required, no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required, no exemptions

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at a local pay rate
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after the initial submission will not be accepted
• First-time travelers are accepted, though experienced travelers are preferred
