Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Poplar Bluff, MO, requiring 2+ years of experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg setting, floating between two units (Floor 1 and Floor 4)
• Scope of care includes orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patients, as well as telemetry patients
• 36-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5–7 depending on acuity
• Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Cerner
• Floating required between the two Med/Surg units

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required (no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO is capped at 36 hours per contract; requests must be less than one week in duration
• May be required to work Easter, Mother's Day, or Memorial Day
• Scheduled shift requests will be considered but cannot be guaranteed
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
