Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment in Baton Rouge, LA, requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications with at least 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in Baton Rouge, LA
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- On-call required every other weekend
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
- Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may assign you to an Emergency Team, which may require you to remain on-site or serve on a relief team during an emergency event — candidates uncomfortable with this expectation should not apply
- Holiday coverage expectations and emergency event assignments are determined by the unit manager
