Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Oncology unit position requiring chemotherapy certification and IMC experience in a Kansas hospital setting.
Details
- 13-week travel nursing contract
- Oncology unit within a hospital setting
- IMC (Intermediate Care) patient population
- 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend requirement, working Friday/Saturday nights or Saturday/Sunday nights
- Float to acute care units as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact state license currently in hand
- Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification required
- IMC experience required
- Oncology nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
- Former permanent employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
- Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file; booster is not required
- COVID vaccination card will be required for consideration
