Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital assignment at a Level II Trauma Center, with Epic EMR experience required and a minimum of 1 year of experience accepted.

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds at a Level II Trauma Center
• Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (8:00–17:00)
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Weekend rotation required alongside full-time therapy staff
• No on-call or block scheduling required
• No floating between units within this assignment; however, travelers may be expected to float between all facilities within the state

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required; first-time travelers will be considered
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is a 13-week assignment
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO is expected to be minimal for this position
• Scrub attire is required; solid navy blue for licensed personnel — print tops are not acceptable
