Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LDRP position on a unique island hospital setting, requiring Epic experience, postpartum experience, and an active MA RN license.

• Works in the LDRP unit of a small community hospital serving an island population of 15,000+ year-round residents and up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
• Rotating shifts with 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR experience required for charting
• Postpartum experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• Current NRP certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• Certifications must be from AHA only per facility policy
• Epic EMR experience required
• Postpartum nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
• The hospital is located on Nantucket Island, approximately 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts
• Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will receive a reduced rate
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
