Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LDRP position on a unique island hospital setting, requiring Epic experience, postpartum experience, and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Works in the LDRP unit of a small community hospital serving an island population of 15,000+ year-round residents and up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
- Rotating shifts with 36 hours per week
- Epic EMR experience required for charting
- Postpartum experience required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
- Current NRP certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
- Certifications must be from AHA only per facility policy
- Epic EMR experience required
- Postpartum nursing experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
- The hospital is located on Nantucket Island, approximately 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts
- Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will receive a reduced rate
- Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
