Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LDRP position at a unique island hospital, requiring an active MA RN license, Epic experience, and postpartum nursing experience.
Details
- LDRP unit at a small community hospital serving a year-round island population of 15,000+ residents, with up to 100,000 additional seasonal visitors annually
- Patients include laboring, delivering, recovering, and postpartum mothers and newborns
- 36 hours per week on rotating shifts
- Charting is performed in Epic; prior Epic experience is required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
- Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
- Current NRP certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
- All certifications must be AHA-issued
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Prior postpartum nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Flu vaccine required during flu season; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
- This facility is located on Nantucket Island, approximately 30 miles offshore
- Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
- Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
