Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Washington State, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and flexibility to float to other departments.
Details
- Med/Surg unit serving an adult patient population
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- 36 hours per week with the ability to pick up extra shifts
- Every other weekend off
- Floating to other departments on a rotation basis is required
Requirements
- Active WA RN license or a compact multi-state RN license currently in hand
- Compact license holders must provide: (1) proof of approved 6-hour suicide training and (2) verification of demographics from Nursys
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS and ACLS
- Current NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Meditech EMR experience is helpful but not required
Additional Information
- 13-week contract assignment
- Must be a team player willing to collaborate across departments
- All requested time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and scheduled at the end of the contract
- Located near the Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
