Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with 5+ years of experience for a day shift travel assignment at an acute and skilled care facility in Winchester, TN.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department of a 198-bed acute and skilled care facility fully accredited by the Joint Commission
• Facility features a 10-bed ICU, 13-bay Emergency Room, Cardiac Cath Lab, OR suites, and a Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, among other specialized departments
• Serves patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
• ICU and ER respiratory therapy cases are common in this role
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36-hour work week with weekend hours every other weekend
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• EMR: Meditech (experience required)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
• RRT or CRT credential required
• Active TN licensure/certification required to practice as a CRT or RRT (license required if applicable)
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, and ABG Endorsement — AHA certifications required
• ICU and ER respiratory therapy experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract assignment located in Winchester, TN
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; facility-branded attire from other organizations and casual wear are not permitted
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to the assignment start date
