Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract at a Level II Trauma teaching hospital, with Epic EMR experience required.
Details
- NICU unit within a 629-bed short-term acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Teaching hospital environment
- Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Weekends required (variable)
- Floating between all facilities within the state is expected and required
- No on-call required
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active WA state RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs: any color accepted for RNs
- No parking fee at this facility
- Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of that employment
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- 9-week contract with no coverage needed beyond the end of September
