Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment in California, requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience, ACLS, and an active CA license.
Details
- Work in an Interventional Radiology / Cardiac Cath Lab setting, providing support to cardiologists, radiologists, and RNs
- 4x10 hour day shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM
- Every 3rd weekend required
- On-call required as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Active CA license required (license required if applicable)
- Current ACLS and BLS required
- Valid Fluoroscopy Permit required
- Proficiency with cath lab procedures and technical analysis
Additional Information
- Provide technical support for procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab under the supervision of a cardiologist
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- May be responsible for mentoring and training students
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Former employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
