Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with circulating experience and prior travel experience for a 13-week contract at a hospital-based Operating Room in Big Spring, TX.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room (OR) of a hospital setting in Big Spring, TX
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Rotating call shared between 2 RNs, covering general surgery and emergency C-sections
• Call rotation schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday–Sunday one week, then Wednesday and Thursday the following week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license (currently in hand) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Traveler must report to Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo on the first day before resuming the remainder of the contract in Big Spring
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival
• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
