Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Advanced Endoscopy unit position requiring at least 1 year of experience, AHA-certified BLS and ACLS, and an active OK or compact RN license.

• Position is based in an Advanced Endoscopy unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), 5 days per week, 40 hours per week
• Set day off each week
• On-call required 2–3 days per month
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Full date of birth and full SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, and delegating tasks to support staff
• Candidate must communicate care plans and hospital procedures to patients and families
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may work a maximum of 26 weeks total (including any extensions); a 6-month separation period is required before becoming eligible for a new contract
• Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, and medical requirements) must be completed promptly — start dates will not be adjusted for non-compliance
