Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with 3+ years of experience and Siemens MRI scanner proficiency for a 13-week contract at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center with 1,500+ staffed beds
- Thursday and Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Charting performed in Epic
- 13-week contract
- Teal scrubs required
- Parking is available at a cost of $125/month
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- Siemens MRI scanner experience required
- Experience in a large Trauma Center setting required
- ARRT (MRI) certification and current BLS required
- CT state license required if applicable
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Additional Information
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- RTO exceeding 7 days requires facility approval
- Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination and booster required; religious and medical exemptions are considered
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
