Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
- Dedicated Mammography unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Uses Hologic mammography equipment
- Charting in Epic (required)
- Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- No on-call, weekend, or block scheduling requirements
- No floating between units within this assignment, though travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Mammography Tech experience
- Familiarity with Hologic equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Biopsy experience preferred but not required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of that employment
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable for this role
- Parking is provided at no cost
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
