Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a PCU Float position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a willingness to float primarily to Med Surg.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with float responsibilities, primarily supporting Med Surg
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (straight 48s may also be considered)
• 84 hours per biweekly pay period
• Weekend shifts required, which may include most weekends during the contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules are not available
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license valid in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Floating is a core expectation of this role, with primary support going to Med Surg
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances (including CBD products) that could cause a positive result
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
