Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment in Beaumont, TX, requiring ARRT or ARMRIT MR certification and Epic/Sectra PACS experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Imaging MRI department
• Patient population includes inpatients, ER patients, ICU patients, and up to 2 outpatient slots per day
• Rotating shifts: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM and 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
• Full-time schedule
• May be required to work other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed
• Epic EMR and Sectra PACS experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical MRI setting
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Basic computer proficiency required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI procedures while supporting patient flow and other imaging technologists as needed
• Conduct MRI safety screening for patients and staff and participate in QA processes
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and resolve issues related to image processing and the PACS archiving system; escalate problems to the PACS administrator as needed
• Expected to participate in ongoing education and stay current with safety and technical advances within scope of licensure
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
