Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience, with day shifts and floating requirements.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit (5 Medical East) in a hospital setting
• Diverse patient population covering a wide range of medical and telemetry diagnoses — not disease-specific
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 6 weekends required throughout the contract to fill staffing needs
• On-call and floating are required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license valid in Texas required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) RN experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Navy blue scrubs required
• RTO is limited to 3 days or fewer for the duration of the contract; full shifts must be worked each week
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
