Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a screening-only mammography site in Ohio, requiring 1 year of experience and active ARRT and Ohio licensure.
Details
- Screening-only mammography site — no diagnostic imaging or interventional procedures performed in this role
- Inpatient and outpatient experience required
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM
- No weekends and no call required
- Epic EMR — experience required
- Preferred procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- Must be registered in mammography
- Active Ohio state license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Report documenting the number of mammograms performed since October 2023
- List of 25 mammograms completed under supervision during training
- Any breast imaging CE certificates earned since October 2022
- Mammography training certificate or documentation from training or diplomas
- 8 initial CE hours/training in Digital Mammography
- 8 initial CE hours/training in 3D DBT
- ARRT 'Verification of Certification & Registration' document showing registry exam pass date(s)
- ARRT Procedure Log completed during mammography training (required if certification was after July 2017)
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local Radiology candidates are accepted for this position
- Must be available to work every other holiday
- Any RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — no RTO will be added after an offer is made, and approval is at the manager's discretion
