Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical position requiring a WV or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Medical-Surgical unit (5S) in a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule is either 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR
• Scrubs are not provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two manager or charge nurse references from within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• The facility has a strict attendance policy and will only tolerate 2-3 call-offs per contract
• The unit cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests but will make efforts to accommodate travelers
• Extension beyond the initial 13-week contract is possible
