Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 6 months of current high-volume Cath Lab experience and competency in structural heart procedures for a 13-week travel assignment in Edgewood, KY.

Details

Work in a cardiac cath lab setting
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required
Call required 1–2 nights per week
Included in holiday rotation
May float within clinical scope per facility policy
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of current Cath Lab experience in a high-volume setting, with 2 years of overall experience required
Competency in all structural heart procedures required
ARRT certification required
ACLS and BLS required
Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) certification required — may be pending at time of consideration but must be in hand by start date
Valid KY or compact license required — license required if applicable
Epic EMR experience required
Two supervisor references required for consideration
COVID vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
Flu vaccine required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted
Former employees must have been separated from the facility for at least one year (from full-time, part-time, or per diem status) to be considered as a traveler
Scrubs and apparel must not display any agency or brand logos — strictly enforced
Dress code: no nose rings or gauged earrings; fingernails must be natural and less than 1/4" in length for those in direct patient care (polish is acceptable)
No cafeteria on-site; a refrigerator and microwave are available
Free parking available in any unrestricted space
All RTO requests should be submitted upfront and kept to a minimum
