Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Adult ICU and general care experience for a night shift travel assignment at an academic medical center in Missouri.
Details
- 13-week travel contract in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at an academic medical center
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Adult ICU and general care patient population
- Floating to other units is required
- Every other weekend work required
- Holiday coverage required for approximately 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
Requirements
- Current RRT credential required
- Active MO or Compact respiratory therapy license required at time of consideration; pending license may be accepted
- Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Adult ICU and/or general care required
- Two professional references required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be considered at a different rate
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services across Adult ICU and general care settings
- Must be available to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 healthcare facility, including during inclement weather
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Routine exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is expected in this role
