Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Adult ICU and general care experience for a night shift travel assignment at an academic medical center in Missouri.

Details

• 13-week travel contract in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at an academic medical center
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Adult ICU and general care patient population
• Floating to other units is required
• Every other weekend work required
• Holiday coverage required for approximately 50% of holidays occurring during the contract

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Active MO or Compact respiratory therapy license required at time of consideration; pending license may be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Adult ICU and/or general care required
• Two professional references required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be considered at a different rate

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across Adult ICU and general care settings
• Must be available to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 healthcare facility, including during inclement weather
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• Routine exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is expected in this role
