Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Outpatient Radiation Oncology position requiring at least 3 years of oncology experience and Epic proficiency, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends or call.
Details
- Outpatient Radiation Oncology unit setting
- Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and no on-call requirements
- Shift options include 5x8s (0700–1500 or 1400–2200) or 4x10s (0700–1700)
- No floating within the unit; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- Epic EMR required
Requirements
- Active WA RN license or valid Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of oncology nursing experience required
- Radiation oncology experience preferred but not required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff at this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive time-off requests may impact candidacy
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates
