Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience, including Level 1 Trauma Center, ED, inpatient, and OR experience, for a 13-week night shift contract.
Details
- Level 1 Trauma Center hospital setting with experience required in the ED, inpatient, and OR environments
- Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Holiday coverage required when holidays fall on a weekend
- No on-call required
- Siemens, McKesson, or GE equipment experience preferred
- Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience required, with at least 1 year in the specialty
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- ACLS preferred
- Level 1 Trauma Center, ED, inpatient, and OR experience required
- Active MO or Compact license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- 2 professional references required
- Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront
- This role involves routine exposure to patients with contagious illnesses in an active, fast-paced healthcare environment
