Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift contract in North Carolina, with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekday and weekend availability required, with a minimum of every other weekend (EOW)
- Holiday coverage is required
- Option to flex to a 4x12 schedule based on need and availability
- EMR: Meditech (experience preferred)
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must be obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required; 3 years preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for candidates with 3 or more years of ER experience
- CPI/CIC certification is preferred; travelers on extended assignments (3+ months) may obtain CPI on-site
