Description

American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Elizabethtown, KY, requiring an active KY or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit (North Tower 4)
• Patient population includes adults 18 and older
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license, unrestricted and currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Provides patient and family education and facilitates the discharge process in collaboration with Case Management
• Delegates and oversees patient care tasks performed by other team members
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including monitoring of patient satisfaction, falls, pressure ulcers, and CAUTIs
