Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and an active WI or compact RN license in hand.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital's Maternal Child Services department
- Patient care areas include Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Level 1 Nursery, LDRP, and Mother/Baby
- Baby-friendly protocol environment
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every 3rd weekend required
- One holiday rotation required
- Floating may be required to other units as 'Helping Hands' within scope of practice
- Epic EMR required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
Requirements
- Active WI RN license (or compact RN license) must be in hand prior to placement
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Required certifications: BLS and NRP
- Preferred certifications: STABLE, AWHONN, and ACLS
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with Antepartum, LDRP, Level 1 Nursery, and Mother/Baby care required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Block scheduling requests are subject to manager discretion
- RTO should be requested upfront whenever possible
