Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position in Pittsfield, MA, requiring 3+ years of ER experience and a current Massachusetts RN license.

Details

• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• 36 hours per week scheduled across 3 shifts
• 13-week contract duration
• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required and must be in hand
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Active ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Active PALS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Active TNCC certification required
• Minimum 3 years of current Emergency Room experience (within the past 6 months) required
• Valid personal vehicle required for this assignment
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration
• Current ER skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — a maximum of 5 days of RTO will be considered, and no scheduling requests will be approved after an offer is extended
• Block scheduling will not be accommodated for this position
• Candidates currently working a simultaneous permanent or travel assignment will not be considered
