Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel contract in Pittsfield, MA, requiring 2 years of experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Two 16-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM – 11:30 PM
• Holiday coverage required if applicable
• No on-call requirements
• Uses PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, and DR systems
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, with at least 1 year current
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Active MA Radiology Technologist license required, or proof of application at time of consideration
• Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Proficiency with PACS, CR, DR, HIS, and RIS systems
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• X-Ray Technologist skills checklist current within 1 year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform a wide variety of radiologic procedures requiring independent judgment and the application of appropriate skills to support diagnosis
• May be assigned supervisory or instructional responsibilities by the Lead Technologist or Operations Manager
• Maintains compliance with infection control, body substance isolation, OSHA standards, and patient confidentiality policies
• Must stay current with continuing education requirements for radiology
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted; all scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of consideration and will not be approved afterward
