Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Dept position in Granbury, TX, requiring 2 years of ED experience and travel nursing background preferred.
Details
- Hospital Emergency Department setting with 10 rooms and 19 beds/chairs
- Patient ratio of 3-4:1
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- 13-week contract
- No on-call or floating required
- No 48-hour shifts
- EMR: Medhost
- Experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases required
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC (AHA or ARC accepted) — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Active driver's license required for consideration
- Titers must be in hand at time of consideration
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required
- RTO requests must be submitted in advance and are limited to less than one week
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- First-time travelers may apply, though travel experience is preferred
