Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Warrenton, VA, requiring 2+ years of ER experience and AHA-certified ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department of a 97-bed acute care hospital
• Patient population spans the full age spectrum, from pediatric to geriatric
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract
• Floating required on a rare basis, limited to skill-appropriate units or as an additional set of hands
• No on-call requirements
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Proficiency in core ER skills including phlebotomy, IV placement, EKG, splinting, wound care, and patient transport
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
