Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of MRI experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in Nebraska, requiring ARRT (R) and (MR) certifications and a Nebraska State MRI License.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma Center
- MRI department covering ED, outpatient, and inpatient populations
- Uses Siemens MRI equipment, power injector, and Epic EMR
- Floating limited to MRI scanners only
- 10-hour day/evening shifts: Sunday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM, Monday 11:30 AM–9:30 PM, Tuesday 11:30 AM–9:30 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
- May include a limited call rotation during weekdays and weekends
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications required
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- Nebraska State Medical Radiographer (MRI) license required prior to start — license required if applicable
- IV insertion skills required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing general MRI exams, patient care, and clinical documentation
- Technologist may work independently at times
- Required dress code: turquoise scrub top, grey scrub pants, and predominantly black, grey, or white shoes
