Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Pittsfield, MA, requiring telemetry experience and a valid MA RN license in hand.

Details

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Med/Surg unit with 20–34 beds depending on the unit
• Typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to any Med/Surg unit is required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience is highly preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration — the facility will not pend licensure
• Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be in hand — the facility will not pend certifications
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit required
• A supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required
• A Med/Surg skills checklist current within the past year is required
• Personal vehicle required for this assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration

• Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable
