Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel ICU position in Roswell, NM, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, in a 16-bed Intensive Care Unit
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Patient ratios of 1:2 for ICU patients and 1:3–4 for stepdown patients
• Floating to Stepdown and Med/Surg departments is required
• On-call required, though rarely needed
• EMR: Cerner
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date
• Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Role involves a mix of ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg overflow patients
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• At least one winter holiday is required
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local travelers are not eligible
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
