Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a night shift Emergency Department position at a critical access hospital in Kingfisher, OK, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and active Epic proficiency.

• Emergency Department (ED) at a critical access hospital
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12)
• Schedule is structured in 7-day blocks running Wednesday through Tuesday, with one overtime shift built into the schedule
• Uses Omnicell for medication management
• Epic EMR — experience required
• No floating, call, or weekend requirements specified
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced bill rate

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN license or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is documented
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required, with critical access ED experience strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be comfortable working overnight in the ED with support from Med Surg staff as needed
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a reduced travel bill rate; local candidates may work a maximum of 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or relocation to a facility outside the 50-mile radius
