Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 1-2 years of experience, an SC or compact RN license, and on-call/late stay availability.

Details

• Cath Lab unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities include late stay as needed
• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required; pending license considered if obtained prior to start date
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront during the application process; RTO requests made after submission will not be considered
• Orientation includes pass/fail testing: a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and a Moderate Sedation Test are administered on the first day; candidates have one attempt to pass
• The facility maintains an attendance policy for travelers — missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
