Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Radiographer (X-Ray Tech) for overnight shifts at a 330-bed hospital in Manchester, NH, requiring at least 2 years of experience and active ARRT(R) certification with NH state licensure.

Details

• Diagnostic Radiology department within the main building of a 330-bed acute care hospital in Manchester, NH
• Overnight shifts from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Wednesday
• On-call availability required, including backup call coverage on weekends and overnights
• Procedures include fluoroscopy performed in the Radiology unit
• Equipment includes Philips, Siemens, and GE OEC C-arms; Carestream, Canon, and Siemens portable units; and Canon XR rooms
• Documentation system: Allscripts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiology/X-Ray
• Active ARRT(R) certification required
• Active NH state license required — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• OR and fluoroscopy experience required
• Must be available to take call
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates considered

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures in an inpatient hospital setting
• Staff mix includes both new and experienced technologists across all imaging areas
• Department features newly installed Canon XR rooms
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
