Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehabilitation RN for a day shift travel assignment at a 50-bed acute rehabilitation hospital in Dallas, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and AHA certifications.
Details
- 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
- Rehab Nursing unit specializing in stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury recovery
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Equipment includes IV pumps, EKG machines, bariatric beds, and medication dispensing systems
- EMR: Cerner and Epic
- Day shift schedule
- Every other weekend required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Inpatient rehabilitation or med/surg nursing experience
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides specialized care to patients recovering from stroke, amputation, and major surgeries
- The facility is CARF-accredited for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
