Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring telemetry, vent, and transplant experience across two specialized units in a hospital setting.
Details
- Works across two IMC units: an Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and a Thoracic unit
- Patient population includes oncology, cardiac, and progressive care (PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown) patients
- Ventilator and transplant patient care required
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Shift days span Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior telemetry experience required, including oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown settings
- Ventilator experience required
- Transplant patient care experience required
Additional Information
- Must pass a telemetry competency test prior to starting the assignment
- 13-week contract
