Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing (SNF) position in Janesville, WI, requiring an active WI or compact RN license and day shift availability with weekend and holiday rotation.

Details

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 0.9 FTE position (36 hours per week)
• 8-week contract
• Every third weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating to other inpatient units may be required based on census

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Prior skilled nursing experience required
• Education verification required for consideration

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient care
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Develops, initiates, and executes individualized patient care plans including patient and family education
• Documents care according to established standards
• Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
• Applies critical thinking in support of patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
