Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds at a Level II Trauma Center
- PT Acute Care Hospital unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
- No floating between units within this assignment; however, all travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- Epic EMR required
- Free surface parking available on-site
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience required
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Additional Information
- Travelers should be aware that refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position; a limited number of days may be approved
- Scrub attire is required; solid navy blue for licensed personnel — print tops are not acceptable
- This is a reduced non-billable orientation position with 0 hours of orientation time
