Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Newborn Nursery/Labor & Delivery Night Shift position in Chicago, IL, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification.

Position is based in a hospital Newborn Nursery unit within a Labor & Delivery setting
Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)
AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
Minimum 1 year of L&D/Newborn Nursery RN experience required
Date of birth (DOB) and Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration
Experience with the facility's designated EMR system required

Additional Information

Provides nursing care to newborn patients on overnight shifts in a hospital-based nursery
DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) training required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC NIOSH resource
