Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Unit position in Overland Park, KS, requiring at least one year of travel RN experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital Med/Surg Unit setting
- Day shift, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units required as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum one year of travel nursing experience required
- Minimum one year of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification recommended but not required
Additional Information
- All RNs are required to wear navy blue scrubs
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
- Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file
- Employee parking is available in the yellow-marked spaces in the front of the hospital, last row
