Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Unit position in Overland Park, KS, requiring at least one year of travel RN experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.

Hospital Med/Surg Unit setting
Day shift, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required
Floating to other units required as needed
No on-call responsibilities
13-week contract

Requirements

Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Minimum one year of travel nursing experience required
Minimum one year of RN experience required
Current BLS certification required
NIHSS certification recommended but not required

Additional Information

All RNs are required to wear navy blue scrubs
Local candidates are accepted for this position
Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file
Employee parking is available in the yellow-marked spaces in the front of the hospital, last row
