Description
American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT) for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of recent vascular ultrasound experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 beds
- Vascular ultrasound unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift (4x10 hours): 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Night shift (4x10 hours): 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- On-call is required — 4 nights of call coverage needed
- Weekends are not required
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- No float within the unit, but travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
- Free parking on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent vascular ultrasound experience required
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- State license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided by the facility
